How the PDF pattern works
I sell hand embroidery patterns in PDF format. PDF means Portable Document Format. You'll need a PDF viewer to view the pattern. If you don't have one installed (you probably do, but still), you can get Adobe Reader for free
The PDF file of the pattern will be available for instant download once payment is confirmed. If you have any questions about the download process, read the article with instructions
Currently, I only sell my patterns at faimyxstitch.etsy.com
What is included?
I have different kinds of patterns, and they are edited differently. Some were made a few years ago, and some were made yesterday. What they always have in common:
- list of supplies
- image for transfer (usually in several sizes, and you can always print it bigger or smaller)
- color table (thread colors usually for DMC threads)
- what stitches to make, where, and in what direction
- how to make stitches (diagrams and links to the videos)
- how many strands to use
- information for beginners (it usually goes before the pattern or as a separate Hand embroidery guide download)
- how to finish the hoop
City hand embroidery patterns
These consist of two files. Hand embroidery guide with info for beginners, stitch tutorials.
And the pattern itself, with an image for transfer, a color table, directions of stitches, and final steps.
Monthly patterns
These are the patterns for my program on Patreon. Patrons choose what they want to embroider, and often these are quite detailed projects. For them, I make instructions for each element.
Sometimes I film how to make each element if the embroidery is complex.
But still, all the info for beginners is included
The rest of the patterns
Depending on the complexity, I include more or less information. But I always keep in mind the beginners and that you shouldn't waste time remembering how to make a certain stitch.
Sometimes I draw almost every stitch to make sure you'll understand exactly what to do. You see the directions, you see where they start and end.
For the Blue Jay pattern, I drew stitches layer by layer to make the process really clear.

What is not included
The finished embroidery and materials are not included. I do not sell kits.
It means that you need to find materials by yourself. I created a little help: patterns include info about the good brands and good craft stores around the world. It's the list that we created with my IG crowd.
PDF patterns give a lot of possibilities. You can resize the image, choose fabric in any color you like, change thread colors, and let your imagination and creativity fly.
